Happy Birthday Papa!

Yesterday we celebrated my dads birthday! We made a special peanut butter/chocolate pie for dessert and had yummy steak burgers. Ella made him a birthday banner too!!! Pardon the naked kid...we usually paint in just undies :)
We have a busy day tomorrow of cleaning house and meal planning for the next season change. Hopefully I can get it all done and attach some of my ideas!

The very begining

     Let me take some time to introduce myself.  My name is Kirsten and I am the mother of a VERY wild 2 year old.  She is the love of my life and all that I could have every asked for.  Without her my life would be dull and boring....that I am sure of ;)
     My husband and I have been married for 5 years...this year! He is also the other love of my life...well he came first and will always hold a special place in my heart.  He is God's gift to me and puts up with WAY too much.  He is an amazing hard worker and provider for us and gives us all we could ever want or ask for! 
     Okay...done with the gushy stuff.  Now on for why I wanted to create this blog....well because blogs are COOL!  I feel all New York and stuff for having my own blog...lol Yeah, I'm a loser.
    Anyways,  I have felt this pull to get my house in order and start "schooling" my little one.  I have been searching the net for all ideas on toddler education and hope to start introducing some new fun ideas to her.  We have always been a hands on family and she loves to learn but I want to do more...at her pace of course.  I guess I just want to share with others what we do and in return learn from others too!
